The love of a great cup of coffee has been a constant and evolving theme in our lives; having traveled the world together, we have discovered and experienced various cultures and coffees in some amazing locations. Drawing on our love for conversation and adventure, our passion for coffee was seeded with a common theme found the world-round. Whether from a small, unassuming shack serving up the best Cypriot espresso to be found, or the fanciest, most upscale cafes from Seoul to Honolulu, or maybe just the front porch with a dear friend, one thing is certain: coffee brings people together.

A simple cup can bridge the voids between cultures, is shared during our best and our worst times, and gets the world moving. This theme is deeply rooted in the meaning behind our name; to “Talk Story” means, simply, to be generous with your time when engaging with others. It means that the community or person you are talking with is the most important thing at that given instant - not to be rushed or taken for granted. Instead, take the time to relax, be in the moment, and enjoy the person and the conversation for what it is: an opportunity to connect as friends.
